In kar naprej se v knjigi omenja, da je pošast. In pri tem mu je vseeno, če uniči Aislinino družino. Zgodba se vrti okrog enega preteklega dogodka, za katerega se hoče Sam maščevati. Pogrešala sem več dialoga med glavnima junakoma, več dodelanih scen. Se mi zdi, da je bila preplet prejšnjih zgodb in imela enak scenarij kot pri knjigah Vicious, Sparrow in The Villain. Sem bila kar v velikem pričakovanju Samove in Aisling-ine zgodbe, sedaj ko sem prišla do konca, pa sem kar malo razočarana. Ne računa pa na Aisling- zlezla mu je namreč pod kožo, čeprav si čustev noče priznati. Ko Sam odkrije, da je bil oče Fitzpatrickovih vpleten v razmerje z njegovo mamo ter jo je on nagovoril, naj ga mati zapusti, se odloči da se mu bo maščeval, ne glede na vse.
